Drybar St. Louis - Clayton

This is my 2nd time to Dry Bar in Clayton, however I have frequented Dry Bar around the country in many locations and always have had wonderful experiences. It saddens me to write this review. The 2 stars is because I had a great stylist Ashley who did a great job after I was finally seen. The lack of stars is because I was seen 20 min late and nobody offered me any champagne or drinks and I had to remind them I was there for a blow out. Terrible receptionist and customer service. She ignored me and acted like I was a pain. She did braids on another associate who was employed there instead of waiting on customers and being friendly & attentive. I had to remind them I needed to get my hair done as I was on a time frame. Also I had to ask for a libation several times finally received it. Receptionist had a complete attitude. I book this service to be pampered have a fun holiday blow out before a special event. Being ignored and begging for service is never how I have been treated before at any Dry Bar. How embarrassing on so many levels.

Alexa is always amazing! She is not only great with blow outs and styling, but is very professional with her clients as well. She really is very talented! The reception staff is also very professional and courteous too! Keep up the great work!

Alexa did my hair for a photo shoot and it was such an amazing experience and lasted for days afterwards! She was so much fun to talk to, and gave great recommendations on how I should style my hair. Go see her, you won’t be disappointed!

Alexa is an amazing stylist! She takes the time to understand what style you’re wanting and executes that style to perfection! She does a speedy blowout, and she’s so much fun to talk to! Definitely recommend her!

I had made an appointment for a dry style because I had a photo shoot. The shoot ended up getting canceled and post poned (completely out of my control) so I called day of my appointment to explain the situation and said I would call back to reschedule once I knew the new date. The girl I spoke to over the phone said ok and thank you for letting them know. Come to find out I was still charged a "late cancel fee". She said nothing about how I would still be charged!! This is a little absurd considering I was planning to reschedule. These types of things come up and for them to not be understanding and accommodating is ridiculous. I ended up calling to speak with someone. Left multiple messages and no one got back to me. After calling 3 times someone finally returned my call but I missed the call. Someone named Linda called me back and left a message (sounded like she was maybe the manager).. she left me her personal phone number and said I could text her. So I did. Asking for them to make an exception due to the scenario. .. She never got back to me! Ive had nothing but terrible customer service from here. I had planned to reschedule my appointment but I will no longer be giving them by service.
