Received one great experience by stylist Ab. Received a second not great experience for a black tie gala. A person I brought in with me also had a horrible experience in the chair next to me. As I looked around the salon on Oct 28, 23, during my bad experience, I noticed so many details about all the stylists and it was very apparent they need more training. I feel bad for the staff. All of the stylist were struggling. They looked frazzled and honestly upset. I did not see one salon styled blow out in the place. Dry Bar UTC is NOT ready to be open. When reaching out to the owner, I ended up being met with such an unprofessional and rude response. Emails initially offered no solution and honestly I felt very blown off. When I pushed back a little, looking for a solution and a reason to return to the salon, the person responding (who didn’t sign their name) appeared frustrated and annoyed to be dealing with me. They offered a redo, after I asked but the way it was offered was rude. Accusing me of coming in during the week, making sure to put in all caps I can only have a redo during the week. This is inaccurate, I was there on a Saturday. The emails got uglier from who was responding. I did ask for their name and eventually the owner Nancy signed an email, but ultimately I decided to cancel my membership. I do not want to support a business that is already showing signs of poor leadership from the start. I don’t want to see struggling stylist being treated poorly, and I also don’t want poor service. I did receive an email back with a refund for my dry style, after I cancelled my membership. I do not recommend Dry Bar UTC at this time.

Gemma Soogrim was amazing! She did my hair for my engagement photos and they looked amazing. She was so kind and gentle. This was before it was combed out

AB is the best stylist I have ever been to! He makes my hair look AMAZING & makes me feel so confident for any occasion. The salon is so clean and the team is really fun- they give you a mimosa every time you come in :) I love this new blowout bar!

I visited Maddie for a blowout and it was amazing. She was so sweet and my hair looked so good for days after. I highly recommend her if you’re looking to book.

Riley did a great job with my hair for family photos! She was sweet and delivered exactly what I requested. Loved sipping coffee and watching a movie while I got my hair done. Will be back again!
