Drybar - Torrance

First experience at the dry bar definitely look like a place I could go to but unfortunately I feel like my first experience was not the best I paid for a head massage she used latex gloves, my hair getting tangled with her gloves she was totally double masked up, which I respect. No conversation, I felt like she wasn’t happy working there. I think at the most we probably got three words in total. my hair was ok, but seeing other people come out with gorgeous blowouts felt cheated out of my experience… not going to disclose a name because that’s not what I’m doing, but maybe management should really talk to their staff about customer service . When I seen the commercial for this, they offered champagne and water, etc. etc. I wasn’t offered anything at all. Maybe different place..

Just got my hair done today by Ashley and she’s amazing! Will be going back now once month to get my hair done by her! Super sweet and knows what she’s doing!

Unfortunately, I have to leave a bad review. I had specifically asked for someone who knows how to work with textured hair. I should have known better. The girl who did my hair was super super sweet, so I hate to leave the review! But certain textures need more or less product. If she was familiar with my texture, then she would have known that my hair needs a little more than other textures. $100 later and an hour later…my hair is puffy and starting to frizz. Very disappointed. PLEASE HIRE MORE WOMEN WHO CAN WORK WITH TEXTURED HAIR! Thank you!

I have been going to drybar weekly for a year. The service has declined so much. More and more frequently they are running behind schedule. No one says anything, no apologies, no information about how long. Then tonight while I scheduled an up do, there is no one to do it. A tad upset.

Set up my appointment and arrived — everything else was handled beautifully and professionally. DryBar Torrance is now my favorite go-to for any event, or on those days that I just want to feel special. Highly recommend!
