Hi there! I do love the fact that Drybar is located in quite a few cities around LA. I also love the fact that any hairstylist can work on my texture hair. This appointment was a little disappointing. The limited parking is a killer so DO COME AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO FIND IT. The usual offer of water or wine was absent here. No Bueno, the devil's in the details. We women stress enough so starting this was WONDERFUL, however keeping it is CRUCIAL because it helps relax and unwind our shoulders, so you can do your best work. 😉 The stylist was sweet and she has skills. However my hair never came out so dry feeling. i normally leave with silky curls but they are working under conditions like not enough hours, closed due to water issues. These workers have enough to worry about. The job site owner should do better making sure the stylist are set up for success. Over all i won't be back to THIS particular location. Dry bar still has my business. They really do a Amazing job 😍
No appointments past 2pm I made an appointment weeks ago for a blow dry for a wedding that got cancelled (this is the 2nd time this has happened once on the day of ) I did not receive a call or email .. not reliable at all very disappointing
On one hand, they mention having no grace period, meaning they may not accommodate you if you're even a minute late. However, I've noticed that they themselves are occasionally late, which can be a very frustrating.
I have been a drybar client and member for years and will now be canceling my membership after being turned away for showing up 6 minutes after my appointment. In my past experiences so long as you arrive within 10 minutes there isn’t an issue. In addition, met by someone at the front desk who was rude and unhelpful. In this day and age, for a company to not have a grace period is ridiculous. I will be canceling my membership and as a client today and will certainly be sharing my experience with everyone else I know who are busy, working mom’s and don’t have the ability to be precisely on time. Poor customer service and experience to say the least.
Really 1 star is too much for this place. It should be no starts or negative stars option.
For years I had all possible negative experience at this location, don't know why we at Studio City deserve this: terrible customer service, poor stylists, long waiting time, overcharging, $35 NO BLOWDRYER TOUCH service. Really, every single Yelp review is true. However, I tried to give this place a chance from time to time, hoping it would improve. Not any more. Yesterday, I had my yet worst experience - I had a special event in the evening, scheduled blow dry at 3, walked 15 minutes in the sun just to learn that my appointment was cancelled because hair stylist didn't show up! Is this for real? The receptionist gave me absolutely mean "if this is how you feel" and "there is no way we can take you", and "I don't have manager's contact info" attitude. She stated someone called me and left me a message, even though I showed her that my phone had NONE from dry bar. Instead of apologizing, she argued this wasn't her fault. Did I care whos fault it was in this situation? In the meantime at least 10 other ladies enjoyed having their hair done. I had to walk back home another 15 minutes in the sun, had to attend my event without nice hair style, experienced worst customer service (usual for this place), what a humiliation from the place one would expect to be indulged! I honestly don't know how this place still exist and why nothing is being done, despite so many complaints and bad reviews! On the other side, I realize that if they have more customers than stylists, nobody probably cares?
