There seems to be a trend at this location.
I was early for my appointment.
The receptionist checked me in.
Then, “Management” wouldn’t take me because it would take them longer than 45 minutes to do my hair.
I wasn’t offered to style it more simply.
Since they were running behind and were booked for the rest of the day, I had to be the one who lost their appointment.
“It’s a new policy.”
Written where?
They saw my luggage.
I just came from the airport and I have an event in a few hours.
No alternatives, just go away.
I tried to be patient for over 25 minutes hoping their would be a possibility.
But no.
A refund does not fix this.
So unprofessional.
It is warranted to use other adjectives, but this was unacceptable.
Had an appointment today at 10. Was called at 950 to be told my appointment was cancelled. I was a block away in my Uber. Incredibly unprofessional communication with the exchange both on the phone and in person when I got there. Thankfully the receptionist eventually said she would squeeze me in with a stylist before the 1015 appointment got there. Great.
The stylist was nice, though I did tell her that my hair is straight and doesn’t hold curl well with a curling iron vs wand. She was like “I’ve got you no worries”. Used the curling iron. My hair was mostly straight within an hour of leaving…
The place really needs better management and cleaning. The filter on the ceiling was FILTHY, and there was more dust along the vents all the way along the ceiling.
I have been going to Drybar for 7 years, getting my hair done by different stylists every time. I really like the idea of not having to go to the same stylists, but you can still get a nice hairstyle. Overall, my experience here has been wonderful. But the last time I went I was very disappointed in my service. I was 10 mins late, and they denied me my appointment. The receptionist/stylist told me he didn't have a stylists who could do my hair because I was late and the stylist who was assigned to me, had another job to get to so she had a hard stop time. I understand the stylist is hustling jobs, but she wasn't even done with the client she was working on when I walked in. So, even if I was on time, she still was running late and would have had the same issue of getting to her next job. So it seems to me that they shouldn't have accepted my appointment from the beginning. I was very disappointed because I had been looking forward to this appointment and made arrangements with my schedule. I'm not sure if I want to go back to this location again. There were already some other minor experiences that had me considering going to another location. I think my last experience may have been the icing on the cake.

Booked a late appointment before the CHCI Gala and Simone took great care of me! The dry styling was quick and beautiful. Would recommend!

Erica nailed my hair! I have naturally curly, textured hair and she had me looking like Kate Middleton in 45 minutes! I am obsessed! 😍
