My stylist was not welcoming to my requests and feedback regarding the blowout. I’ll spare her and won’t mention her name.
She finished my blowout SO fast and I was asking her to go over a few sections because I felt like the outcome was definitely not the same as usual when I come to drybar. And she did eventually go over it and It did look better but she wasn’t around for me to tell her because she walked off and left me.
Prior to listening to or addressing my requests, she argued back and blamed my hair for being the problem because it’s fine. I wanted her to go over it because she rushed through it like she wanted to get it over with.
Again,
She walked off and left me.
I’m pregnant and I could not believe the customer service and the way I was treated, causing me stress especially when I’m obviously pregnant.
An experience that should’ve been pleasant and fun with my best friend from out of town turned out to be unnecessarily stressful.
The manager wasn’t in that day. I was provided his email address. I emailed the manager and never heard back- that was a couple of weeks ago.
Horrible customer service.
Here are the problems with this place:
-Front desk is gossipy, unapproachable, and uncaring. What a truly bad vibe. It doesn't get worse than the older woman that is dressed like upper management, cutting her eyes at you like you're trash. And why are you special? Because you run a blow dry bar? LOL
-Overbooking. We're all booking our blowout on a tight schedule for XYZ event we're attending, right? Well don't plan on your appointment meaning anything, I left after waiting over 20 minutes.
-Talent level. I saw finished blowouts that were frizzy, with half-done curls, and wannabe beach waves, an up-do that was a prom nightmare. Only one stylist who was using curlers seemed to produce a beautiful result. Good luck with that roulette wheel.
This business is a disgrace to people like me who actually care about human beings and customer service. If you want to be treated like you walked into a Lamborghini dealership wearing a potato sack, come here and leave with a barely passable hairstyle for the event you'll definitely be late to.
Was not impressed with the service. I showed the picture I like my hair to turns out but my hair turned out different. After I mentioned this, the lady tried to fix it, got better but still not what I wanted. Other issue was the lady who did my hair was a smoker and I am very sensitive to the smell. While she was washing my hair the smell was very strong. Price was high considering the low quality job. Thanks
When I called to inquire about their services the gentleman was not enthusiastic about offering me information. He seemed to be bothered by the call so I decided that I don't need to be annoyed when coming in to get my hair done,I ended up going to ULTA PASADENA and had my hair done by Patty !! I looked and felt Fabulous !!! This gentleman needs to be more Inviting and sound more enthusiastic working there.
I made an appointment at the Pasadena Dry Bar the day I flew on on SW Airlines on Christmas Eve. My flight was delayed by two hours which was goi g to make it difficult to get to my appointment on time. I called while I I was in baggage claim. My call went to voicemail. My sine picked me up and drove me to DryBar and I was about 15 minutes late. They were still able to do my hair and it turned out great. I asked for a strong Dirty Martini to accentuate the style. The stylist did an amazing job washing and styling my hair. I wish I had taken a photo. I’ve been to the Pasadena Dry Bar location twice now and I highly recommend it for its cleanliness, accommodating, friendly, and talented staff.
