Title: Disappointed with Customer Service at Dry Bar Nanuet
I recently had an unpleasant experience while attempting to make an appointment at Dry Bar Nanuet for a blow dry session. As a long-time customer since October 2021, I was taken aback by the lack of understanding and persistence exhibited by the front desk staff.
When I called today to schedule an appointment, I was informed that a slot was available at 3:45pm . However, things took a turn when the staff member began pressuring me to provide my credit card information over the phone. I expressed my discomfort with doing so and assured her that I would be more than willing to provide my credit card upon arrival. Unfortunately, despite my reassurances, she continued to insist on obtaining my credit card details, disregarding my concerns.
As a customer, I believe it is important to feel comfortable and respected throughout the booking process. The staff member's insistent behavior left me feeling uneasy and reluctant to provide my personal information over the phone. This experience, coupled with the fact that an appointment was not secured, was disappointing.
I hope Dry Bar Nanuet takes customer’s feedback seriously and addresses this issue promptly. Clear communication and a respectful approach to customer concerns are crucial for maintaining a positive salon experience. I would appreciate more consideration for customers' comfort levels when it comes to sharing personal information.
The stylists are very sweet and welcoming. Sage was awesome! I have VERY curly hair and didn't feel any pulling when she combed through all my curls. She was also very gentle but thorough with blow drying and straight ironing my hair. I was impressed with how much I DIDN'T feel a thing yet had beautiful silky straightened hair in under an hour.
I will absolutely be going back!
First time I walked in and had my hair done without a problem. Decent job. Second time, I called to inquire about their availability and they would not make an appointment without me first creating an online account and putting a credit card on file. So, not worth the trouble.
I’ve been a customer at this salon for a year. While I wasn’t 100% pleased with all the stylists, I kept on giving them chances hoping for a change. This was until this week where i had an experience that broke the camels back.
2 weeks ago when I came for service they made an error and charged me more than they should have. They’re response- call corporate.
This week I called 2 hours prior to my appointment to let them know I was coming in from NJ and running late. To which they said no problem that I can still come. When I got there I circled to find a spot for 12 min I called back to let them know and they said they canceled my appointment. They charged me for the appointment that they didn’t service me for after changing their mind.
Honestly, best not to get their barfly membership. It’s expensive and a waste. Their shampoo causes migraines from the strong chemicals . Their stylists often keep you waiting. Their stylists are not great. They don’t have good customer service or support and can’t keep their word.
Strongly disappointed.
I visited Drybar on August 6. The staff was professional and friendly! My stylist was Erica! I have a curly head of hair for about 4 people and Erica tackled my curly hair and had me leave looking glamorous! Will definitely be coming back!
