Drybar - Encino

I had the worst experience today. I had previously had a bad experience at this location but I decided to go here instead of the Topanga location due to the topanga location being booked. I had an appointment but I was declined services due to my hair being slightly wet which they stated they did not have time to work with . I would have been fine with being declined services but what I didn’t appreciate was the rude receptionist and the attitude she gave me during this interaction. There was no apology for having to decline services. Fortunately I was able to go to ULTA for a blowdry so I will no longer return to any Drybar location.

If I could give this Drybar 0star I would definitely do so!! The worst front desk and customer service ever!!!! Never waste your time here! I had an appointment at 9am went there and I was late 5 minutes!!! She was so rude take even 5 minutes to come and check me in herself and told me cause you’re late your appointment is cancelled then she said wait for 15 min someone will help you and in front of my eyes went to one of the hairstylists whisperer in front of me and start laughing!!!! And said she can’t help you! Go to another location offer me another location that was 20 miles !!!!away!!!!! Long story short! Make me feel so ignored and she definitely showed doesn’t know anything about customer service and doesn’t deserve to even say hi to customers!!!! Even as a human!!! She was soooo impolite and can easily make you hate this place forever!!!!!!! Dont waste your time here!!! Never ever

BADDDD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Made an appointment came 20 minutes before my appointment then waited another 25 minutes receptionist doesn’t even tell me hey im sorry are running behind schedule she just there sitting looking at her nails customer service sucks do your job keep client happy what’s the point of making appointments i get it something it can get busy but wow communicate with the customer. Im not happy with the service.

I usually love this Drybar location... but it has definitely changed recently. Front desk was pretty rude, but also they took my daughter very late and were not apologetic about it all. I'll be heading back to Topanga location after this!

Worst front desk. Rude, and acted superior. Also why have a walk in sign out front if you don’t have time for a walk in?? Do yourself a favor and skip this location, go over the studio city Drybar. Better ambiance and much better customer service.
