Carol and her team at Cruise Planners just recently worked tirelessly on our behalf -- and did so with no real benefit to them. Let me explain... My wife and I had to cancel our Silversea cruise at the last minute due to an unforeseen medical issue. Since Carol, who booked it for us, had recommended that we should take out insurance, we did. But rather than me having to deal with the insurance company and jump through the hoops of filing the claim and making sure that we got everything to the insurance company that they needed to consider the claim, Carol did it all for us. And she did it without having to be cajoled in any way. We have now gotten all our money back -- for the total cost of the cruise, and for all the flights. Carol also got our money from the hotel, 100% of it. It's one thing for a travel agent to efficiently and enthusiastically arrange and book your trip for you -- which, of course, Carol did on this and previous trips for us -- but to so diligently work to get all our money back by working with the travel insurance company and the hotel, well, that's a next-level client service that I will not soon forget.
