Great fast food option. I recommend them over the other fast food options available in Playa del Carmen. The burgers, fries, desserts, are all fresh. I just tried the breakfast sandwich, great job. I have noticed that Carl’s JR is better in Mexico. Great job!
We've never been to a Carl's Jr. before and someone on 5th Avenue was handing out flyers so we decided to try. The first time we had a coupon for 2 for 1 ice creams. They were actually pretty good and it was a hard ice cream cone not soft serve. The burgers looked good so even though I wasn't overly hungry I got one. I can't remember the name of the burger I had but it was the #1. I thought it would just be a little burger but it was huge and had bacon and cheese for 99 pesos. It was actually very good and reminded me of a Whopper. We went back for lunch and had the honey mustard chicken tender sandwich combo. The sandwich was also very good and very fresh, the fries were good and they had a couple of sugar free options for drinks. I also had the Jalapeno cheese poppers with ranch dip which were pretty good for the price. You can get your own pickles and jalapenos on the side and the pickles were fresh and crispy. We will definitely return for cheap eats off 5th Avenue. It was a little hard to find coming from 5th Avenue.
I had been to Carl's Junior only in Texas. Prices are almost double what they are in Texas. But the service in PDC is top notch. 👌 The restaurant is very clean. We had a staff making sure we were fine at our table and didn't need anything else. The staff made sure to throw away our food and keep our space clean.
Clean. The drink machine was working and had ice. The food came out hot and fresh. There's no good parking nearby. You'll have to either go to the paid underground garage or to that lot in front of the airport.
