Christy is such a wonderful soul who goes out of her way to assist us with any need. Tina Balentine was simply amazing at getting my home sold! She accomplished that in just a few weeks, where my previous realtor could not in a whole year!!!
The company itself may not be bad but the agent Dee Hanson who is over the home I pay $1400 a month for in rent has made this rental experience the worst imaginable. As of today refuses to get the air conditioner fixed (currently in a 78 degrees home for the 4th time in 6 short months) , still has not taken care of dangerous electrical wires hanging from my ceiling (has been request for months) and when reports are made about issues she takes weeks to complete what was promised . Main safety issue is we have no air conditioner for the 4th time , she continues to wait and put off sending people saying that nothing is wrong with the air and I need to just buy a “humidifier”. The contract states if I hire my own repairman it is out of pocket so she forced me to have to hire my own HVAC because she refused to have it fixed then would not refund the $600 I had to pay them to get the air working . The HVAC company wrote on receipt it is evident that it has needed service for a leak for some time ans they have been only sending someone out to refill it instead of repair it . Hanson refused to this day to refund my $600 on the defaulted air that I was forced to fix due to dangerous heat levels , I have children and a small pet in the home , it gets so hot we can hardly breath. During the summer she made us sit for 4 days without sending someone to fix the air because she was on vacation. I have made complaints to century 21 who does nothing. I have asked to get out of my lease without penalty and she said if I could be out in 10 days so the old owner could have it back she would let me but I had no way to find a home that fast so ended up stuck here with continued issues on the home not being addressed. She does not give the 24-48 hour required warning before coming by to bring roof or insurance inspectors. At one point the old tenat or maybe owner had a key to our home wanted the house back so started coming into the home when we were not here and sending his mail here , could not prove he entered the home but did report it and sent photos each occasion to show property damage and other evidence of someone enter your home, so asked her to change locks and she took 2-3 weeks to complete lock changes when she was told we do not feel safe . Again I have children. Today she came by claiming the air is working and there is nothing wrong with it and we are on our 4th night with no air for a 4th time in less than a year. Do not rent from Dee Hanson at century 21 ever! We have had the worst experience but to mention the health hazard of living without an air conditioner and electric wires and things not getting taken care of for an$1400 rent home. If anyone knows an attorney I can contact please respond.
I had the opportunity to finally begin the process of buying my first home. Unfortunately I had to get the one realtor, Danielle Massey, that did not want to actually do the job of educating and helping. I did all of the work in the process from finding the homes I wanted to look at and more. I had to ask a million in one questions and still never received any answers or feedback. To this day I still hadn't been given any information on a first time homebuyer's class that I repeatedly inquired about. After looking at many properties over a 3 month timespan, I thought I had found a good choice. My agent seemed more concerned with having me deal with her friends for the other services. It gave the impression that she was trying to sell for them to make a commission for using their services. The final day she showed up to showings in raggedy shower slides, blue jean cut offs, a tank top, and wet hair. Afterwards she tells me she's going to follow up on the questions I had, only for her to send an email stating she didn't want to do her job and work with me anymore. I wasn't bothered by not working with her anymore due to the fact that she had been a horrible realtor from day one. I was more bothered by the lack of respect and professionalism. I took over a week for my escrow check to be returned, and when it was a random stranger to me dropped it off to a coworker instead of actually giving it to me. I called the office to speak with the manager and was connected to Benjamin Dowis, only for him to be disrespectful, arrogant, rude, and condescending. After hanging up once I realized the conversation was getting nowhere, he then called back in attempts to try to further be rude and completely unprofessional. So I would stay far away from this group of people. They care more about their egos than actually being kind and helpful. My first time homebuyer experience was made into a complete mess due to these people. Thankfully I was able to connect with a different company and realtor who actually understood the concept of hard work, patience, and that purchasing a home is no simple matter. Danielle did not have my best interest at heart nor did she care to be source of positive and productive information. After speaking with the manager Benjamin Dowis I can see why she thinks it's ok to behave in such a poor manne . Hopefully they both get some more training in being polite.
