British Swim School of Wise Academy

When I first enrolled my son I told my husband this place is empty compared to pre-Covid. I now know why. 1. After I enrolled my child they kept calling, texting and emailing daily to the point of harassment until I confirmed with them he was already enrolled. 2. It is run by teenagers very disorganized. 3. They expect you to accommodate them- they mix classes and change class times when short-staffed. 4. My child has been here one month and he has had a different instructor each time. 5. They charge you extra every time your kid goes up a level. They evaluated my child and decided three weeks later he should be placed in a higher level. Would you believe they decide I should be charged for a “new cap”?The teenage girl came at me with her phone in one hand ready to charge me before I even knew what happened and said “you owe us $10 because your child is going up a class and needs a new cap.” I asked what happens if I don’t pay? She said “ he will stay in the same level and not learn anything new.” I told her I have yet to see any of his classmates wearing one, see picture below. She responded “if you don’t like it call admission.” I was heated with this interaction. I called them and they responded “What would you like us to do?” I said sounds like you want to lose $110 a month over $10. She no joke responded “we charge $106.” So, I asked for a refund for the remainder of this month. She agreed to this. Before his lesson ended he was enrolled else-where starting next week. 6. This is for the British swim owners. Work on customer service because today you didn’t lose just 1 kid due to this you lost 6 because networking/word of mouth exist.

I have 4 children ages 2-6 years old, all who have swam through this program! My 5 and 6 year olds are now on Dearborn swim teams with my 3 year old able to join this upcoming summer because of his skill level. I highly recommend this organization. There is great staff retention and relations, superior communication and accommodations made for families, and the instructors genuinely care for the students.

Incredible! The staff here are beyond amazing, theyre very patient with the kids, they take their time with them, and listen to them. The place is always clean. The manager engages with everyone so well and in a professional manner and is always up and running to making sure everything is right. The instructors are awesome. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else!

Programs and staff are amazing. My son looks forward to swimming classes every week. He has improved tremendously over the past month and looking forward to seeing the progress in the near future. I like the way they teach and deal with kids. I definitely recommend this place for swimming classes.

Incredible gem in the Dearborn community. I am happy to have found a place that offers women only adult swimming classes. I feel very confortable attending and feel my skills have definitely improved since joining and being coached by the staff. I am so happy to have found this place, they are professional and easy to work with, organized, and have flexible opportunities to make up classes. For any adult who doesn't know how to swim, now there are no excuses! I certainly recommend British Swim School!
