Blown Away Nola ~ Blow Dry Bar

Jimmy was amazing. Warm, friendly, fun atmosphere. 4 women getting their hair done is always fun but this place and Jimmy made it especially great!

I went here on a Friday morning for a blow dry and Stella did a fantastic job. I brought a hair mask with me and asked if she could apply it and she was happy to help. The blow dry turned out great. I like a basic bouncy blow dry and it looked fab and not too overdone. Strongly recommend if you’re looking to have great looking hair for the weekend.

I wish I could give this salon 10 stars!! I started services here when another salon dropped the ball on communication and I'm so happy I gave Blown Away a shot! I get blowouts pretty frequently and while they're a little more expensive than your typical salon, my blowouts last for almost a full week and the customer service can't be beat! I've been a satisfied client with my stylist James for over 3+ months - he's FANTASTIC!! The location is a little hidden inside of the Hampton Hotel building, but call them if you get lost.

I left with my hair looking worse than when I arrived. Booked a blown dry, she had less talent than I with a round brush. Most of the service was physically painful with brush pulling my hair out. I have honestly never seen a worse job with the curling iron either. My hair looks horrible. On top of this, she electively charged additional for long hair w/o alerting me - just did it. Horrible service all the way around.

Clint!! He is amazing!! I needed something cool that would last the day and night. Being out of town, calling for a same day appointment for a bridal shower I was pleasantly surprised. He created an updo that lasted and transformed easily to a relaxed side braid for the next day. Highly recommend!! Headed back to him for the October wedding!!
