Birmingham Yoga

I've been practicing at Birmingham Yoga for almost five years. It is a beautiful space, and Heather (and all the teachers) are very welcoming and warm and helpful. I really appreciate how helpful Heather is when my aging body requires modifications. I ALWAYS feel better when I leave. Highly recommend to beginners or anyone wanting to reboot their practice.

I was a complete beginner when I started attending classes at Birmingham Yoga ten years ago and have built up so much strength, endurance, and flexibility because of my yoga practice. The instructors at Birmingham Yoga are fantastic. They are knowledgeable about yoga and the human body and provide a customized practice to all of their students. The environment at the studio is extremely welcoming and inclusive. No matter your gender, your age, or your shape or size, you will feel like you belong. Even uncoordinated runners with tight hammies will find a home here!

I've done various led yoga classes on and off for years. My experience at this studio has changed my approach to yoga completely. It's the first time I've connected breathing and yoga in a meaningful way. Mysore is just a different approach and one that fits me perfectly. The staff and community are fantastic and I could go on and on about how this is one, if not the most positive additions to my life I have made this past year.

Birmingham yoga is great! I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. It just feels like you are walking in to a place to hang out with friends and do work. Everyone is working to be better than the day before. All the teachers are good and help you modify more difficult postures with the intent to eventually pull them off. Birmingham yoga is the real deal!

Birmingham Yoga is a wonderfully welcoming community with knowledgeable and experienced teachers. I really appreciate how the Mysore class style allows teachers to really take time with me as an individual. I would highly recommend this place to people of any experience level or physical ability.
