Big Dog Gym

I love it. Its not a place to hang out and try to look cool in front offriends. Its a place for those who are serious about getting fit. No AC? Its a sweat gym. Old school and I didnt start seeing real gains until I came here. Equipment works flawlessly. Its clean and everything you need is there. I'll never stop going here.

Not sure how they got a license to be a gym but I’ll share my personal experience: -extremely hot with no proper AC sometimes above 94 I’ve never seen a gym without proper AC units -NO showers at all -extremely dirty (at least for me) -Very old rusty machines and can leave stains on your outfits because of whatever oil they use to maintain them -bathroom most of time is dirty and there is only one bathroom for men --you can’t use your phone lol you have to go out side to make a call 😂 EVEN IF ITS URGENT Some grown guy again a grown man went running to the owner to tell them I used my phone and he’s distracted lmao 😂😂😂😂 I swear I though he was joking the whole time till the very end I was like ok chill I’ll leave the entire gym that was a hilarious moment I’ve been telling everyone about it so far no one believed he’s a grown man -no proper lighting -very smelly (for me) -no lockers you have to leave your stuff by the entrance *25 for the key tag and another 25 monthly payment ( over priced) -NO water fountain if you want water you have to pay for it or use the one by the bathroom -Some guys are loud AND TALKING NOT REALLY WORKING OUT -Owners were full of attitude with me when I asked to cancel membership I still have no idea what did I sign up for I asked for a copy of my contract since day one but nothing so far I asked again when I left and still nothing so I’m having three different agencies /departments looking into this then I’ll happily proceed with what they advise me to do So yeah that’s my opinion and my experience with them i absolutely don’t Recommend it even though I was told not to sign up but I figured I’d give them a shot

I was told that the AC works. It was 87 degrees in there on March 4th. It was 95+ degrees (right beside the air conditioner) all summer last year. I’m pretty upset that they lied to me just to con me into to a year long membership.

This gym is great. I'll go further, it's great for people who ARE concerned about fitness and getting as strong as possible and AREN'T concerned about getting dirty, making friends and chatting at the gym all day, or posting pictures every five seconds. It's probably one of the only real gyms left with 10 fitness and planet fitness infecting our neighborhoods. Thanks to the whole Big Dog family. Great job!

Excellent no frills gym, not for anyone except those serious about working out. Lots of space and omg...the equipment is awesome
