Enrolled my 10 year old son a little over 6 months ago and have seen consistent improvements in both discipline and ability. The experience was impressive enough that I joined the dojo myself to help attain my fitness goals and learn a new skill. Would recommend Sensei Anthony to/for anyone.
Sensei Anthony at the north location is amazing! He is calm and patient. He is great with our 6 year old who comes with that "only child territory" I can't thank him enough! He has worked with us every step of the way. I admire his love and passion for the sport and way of life. Highly recommend!!!
I went into my free trial class nine months ago with zero martial arts experience and no idea what to expect. Sensei Anthony and the other students were so fun and welcoming, I was hooked after that first class. With the help of an instructor and class structure, I've seen great improvements in myself both physically and mentally from my time spent at the dojo. For me, it is truly therapeutic.
If you are looking to learn self-defense, combat wrestling, Tai Chi, Kenpo, and weapons, Aplomb Martials is a great place to go. The KC North location is a great facility to attend because Sensei Anthony is a great instructor. He listens to people and develops classes and personal training sessions to fit the need of the students. I have greatly enjoyed working with and continuing my martial arts growth with him.
I started taking my 3 year old daughter to Sensei Anthony about a year ago. I honestly just thought it would be something fun to try out but didn't really think we would stick with it when we went to the trial class. I sure was wrong about that. My daughter loves it so much and Sensei is very patient and encouraging to her. I feel like this is going to teach her some amazing skills as she gets older. I don't think anyone else could have kept her attention as long as he has and been so patient all while teaching her some skills.
