Anytime Fitness

The man there has a terrible attitude. They also don't answer calls, return calls, or respond to emails. My first attempt to reach this business was when a charge was made to my account that should not have. Left a message and did not get a call back. The last time I tried to reach this establishment was months after signing up. I asked when a good time was to return the key as I knew there was a possibility the gym will be unstaffed even during staffed hours. No response to my 2 attempts this time. I ended up going there anyway, to return the key. I even brought up these with the owner/man and he mentioned he does not respond to or owe any response to people who sign up using a third party company. Beware, if you are an active and fit member (or sign up using a similar service), you will be treated with disdain here. The moment I converted my membership, I was treated like filth. He even reluctantly converted my membership after telling me his business does not partner with active and fit (which is a lie). Not recommended if you want to work with professionals or people who can answer simple questions if they arise without acting unprofessionally/being rude because they make less money from you when you sign up using a company "they" partnered with.

I like it here. Everybody is nice but don’t bother you while you work out which I like. The location is convenient being right off the highway and close to grocery shopping. It can get crowded but even on busy days it is not a hindrance to my work out.

Stopped by on a Thursday but the hours posted on the door are inaccurate. I found out from the call center the # on the door sends you to. Call center told me they forwarded my info to a manager and they’d contact me in the morning. It never happened so I made an appointment for Friday via the call center during hours staff are supposed to be on site but no one showed up after knocking and waiting about 10 minutes. The call center couldn’t really do anything. Anytime Fitness is ironic, no?

Edit: I got a response from the owner shortly after posting this. I must say, the gentleman was gracious and apologized multiple times after listening to my concerns. I did not ask for anything as far as refunds or complimentary memberships. Still, I was offered 3 months of membership at most cost. A nice gesture for sure. A couple of pieces of equipment could still be updated but after finally speaking with the owner I have decided to change my rating and write this edit. Better communication will key for the franchise and it seems like they are actually working on it. I plan on extending my membership. First off don’t schedule an appointment you’ll be waiting at the door until whoever is in the office decides to come out and look at the door by chance. The owner apparently never gets messages. Haven’t been able to reach him by email, the cooperate number who said they would have him call back or the franchises phone number. I’ve a spoken to employees at the location and left messages with them (they can’t do much without the owner apparently) and on the franchise voicemail. Still no response. The facilities are basic and the machines could be maintained better (cracked padding on machines, sanitation towels not always stocked, etc) but they fit my needs for fitness purposes. My issue is the incorrect billing never being addressed, I stopped caring after the 5th time trying to contact the owner/manger. When my wife signed up and payed for 3 months in advance and she couldn’t get anyone to give her a key fob to get into the gym is my issue. She still has net gotten a response. It’s been two months. Really, really poor customer service. No matter how convenient this place had been for me this past year the customer service, price and quality just aren’t worth it. I wonder if this will get us a response?

Very small space, with couple people the gym gets crowded. They don't have necessary machine every gym should have some of them are broke they never got fixed. I wonder if they ever spend money on cleaning bathrooms are gross they need some deep cleaning, for a whole year they never had paper towels. I'm allergic to dust the second I walk in I start sneezing my eyes gets itchy and red. They don't have any deals very expensive.
