Anytime Fitness

I loved going to this gym. It is very clean and the equipment is well maintained. I enjoyed that it is 24 hours. Unfortunately I wish I could end the review here, but I have to mention the fact that they have ignored every single attempt to cancel my membership. When I began my membership I signed a contract that was binding for approximately 18 months. It’s been well over 2 years now and Anytime Fitness refuses to call me back, answer my emails, or respond to an actual physical note that I left for management at this location. Even though they don’t have my permission they have continued to charge my bank account with late charges as well. I loved going to gym and bettering myself. If you’re someone who has tons and tons of expendable money then I guess this wouldn’t be an issue for you. For me this is an absolute nightmare and I cannot with a conscience recommend anyone get a membership with Anytime Fitness.

Anytime Fitness is a great gym. The owner and trainer Blake and trainer Marylin are fantastic. The gym is clean and has great equipment. Always open 24-7!

Better than most Anytime Fitness locations. Still room for improvement obviously, but they have a decent selection of equipment and the essentials covered. The lockers are a plus. Not too many locations where you can put your stuff behind lock and key

The receptionist is knowledgeable friendly and a personal trainer. She showed me the cardio stations, the resistance machines, the free weights, the restroom and shower facilities. The place is spotless. I was impressed by the attention I received when I walked in. The receptionist heard me open the door and walk in. She immediately from, her office, asked if she could be of assistance. Her phone rang twice while I was speaking with her and she paid no attention to it. At that moment in time she was there to assist me. Good place, good people. Earlier I had stopped at another gym on my information quest and was basically invisible, apparently. I walked in and over to the main desk, the people in the office looked up at or thtough me but nobody made a move. Two other employees walked by me, went behind the counter and into the office without pausing to ask if they could help me. There were now six people in the office which means there were 12 eyeballs on the other side of that big window gathering information. I stood there for about 10 minutes and a young couple walked in. Immediately three people scrambled out of the office, approached the desk and asked the young couple if they could be of assistance. I turned around and walked out. I'm definitely not invisible because I weigh almost 300 lbs. and I'm 6 ft. 2 in. tall. All of those eyeballs on the other side of that glass and nobody saw me. Maybe it's because I'm old and gray. Who knows because I didn't stay long enough to find out.

So... The staff is nice. The building is small. The prices are outrageous and you have to sign a binding one year contract. The fee for the access card is $50. The sign up fee is $99. The monthly fee for an individual is $39. Crazy amount of money for such a small gym and a tanning bed. I went to Snap Fitness right down the road.
