I could honestly not say more positive things about this gym. It has been almost 4 years now since I looked up “powerlifting gyms” into the Google search engine and this one came up and I took a chance and reached out to the owner Chris. After meeting Chris and taking one look at this gym, I knew this place was something special. This place has the best atmosphere you could possibly ask for when looking for a powerlifting gym. The energy is unmatched and the people you will meet, will become lifelong friends and always be there to help you. I could sit here and write a novel about how amazing this place is and the members who training here are but you’ll have to just come experience it yourself!! Chris is a stellar coach and gym owner and continues to make American Raw a place all members can be proud to call their home!! I highly suggest making it your home as well!

American raw fitness is one of the most welcoming and helpful private gyms in the state. My experience in this gym over the past year has been more than excellent. There is a wide variety of equipment that you won’t find at commercial gyms, there is wide range of members with different goals and different experience levels in fitness or strength sports, no matter where you come from or how you started we all treat each other with respect and a positive attitude. Come in for a day pass and see for yourself, talk to the members! I 100% guarantee you will feel welcome and motivated to lift along side us together.

I’ve never been a part of a better gym then American Raw. The people are friendly and I’d even consider them family. Chris Knight is knowledgeable and can help you reach all your fitness goals! Love it here and would highly recommend.

AR is seriously the best gym I’ve ever been to! I have always been one that feels uncomfortable in a gym setting but the people that belong to this place are so supportive and make you feel like part of a family! I’ve only been lifting here for about a year and I will never go anywhere else! Chris and Emily are some of the greatest people you will ever meet and I’m so thankful that they created such and amazing community that you will find at American Raw!
