AmeriKick Martial Arts Lenexa

We have been so happy with our experience at AmeriKick! We were looking for a positive way to channel our 3 year old’s high energy and it has turned in to so much more. Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis do such a great job having fun with the kids (and they are both so patient!) while also teaching them skills such as teamwork, focus, discipline, confidence, respect and to work hard. Not only have I seen my son’s skills improve at karate but also outside of class! From a business standpoint, I really appreciate the communication from staff and the flexibility with class times. Can’t say enough good things about AmeriKick!

Our son has been going to Amerikick at least twice a week for over a year. We signed him up for the free month and then never stopped. He loves it. We love it. From month to month, he has grown remarkably. He has learned focus, discipline, teamwork, respect, and self-improvement skills. Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis give these kids 100% every class, even when things start going completely sideways. These experienced Sensei can re-engage and bring the class back to the lesson at hand. It is truly enjoyable to watch them work. They are masters at engaging the kids in fun and hard work simultaneously. I even got a little jealous of the fun they were having, and now I am doing the adult classes. It's a great way to bond with my son, stay in shape, and shake off the work week. In addition to Karate, Amerikick puts on a number of fun and FREE activities for the whole family. They are building a solid community and strong individuals. I am excited to see what's next and wish this place all the success in the world.

I can’t speak highly enough about Sensei Mason, Sensei Travis and all of the Amerikick staff we encounter in this program. Our 4 year old son is having a ball in karate! We put him in soccer last year and it was a bad experience. The program was super expensive but lacked organization and truly trained coaches. Our son struggled and it was overall just not great. So we wondered if organized sports was just too early for him. However, I am so glad we took advantage of the the Facebook ad for a trial with Amerikick! Our son simply can’t wait to get to class every week and oh my gosh does he think the world of Sensei Mason! As a dance educator in both instruction and coaching for the last almost 25 years, I am highly trained on classroom management especially for the younger age group. And while of course the subject matter is different, I have very specific expectations of the kinds of instruction environments I want my son in - Amerikick takes the exact type of approach, tone and management that I believe in. So very fun to watch in motion. In just a few short months since starting here, we’ve seen extraordinary growth in his listening skills, focus, self-confidence and emotional self-regulation. His school teachers have also noticed the growth. The synergy of growth spurred across all aspects of his life even outside of karate is so special. Amerikick staff, THANK YOU for all you do and for being such an extraordinary example for my sensitive, creative little boy!

My 2 sons have been going here for about a month now and absolutely love it! My youngest has grown his confidence so much, which was one of the biggest reasons we wanted to get him started. My oldest has been developing a lot of self discipline to keep trying even though something may be difficult for him. I love how the instructors work together to make sure each student is getting what they need to improve. Thanks Amerikick!

Our boys (4 and 7) have been attending AmeriKick for almost a year now. It has been such an amazing experience for them both. Not only are Sensei Mason and Sensei Travis knowledgeable and talented, they are great instructors. They are great with kids of all levels (their patience with the young kids is incredible). They are able to connect with the students, making classes a place for fun, while also teaching them discipline and focus. We can’t say enough about how much our boys have grown since joining!
