Allied Refreshment Company

Update 1/4/22 - The problem I describe below has been worked on by their technicians at my office several times since I posted my review, and while I do appreciate their response each time we call, I've given plenty of time to see a permanent resolution, but the problem keeps coming back. Now, it's worse because the machine eats coins without giving credit, and the coin return button does not work. You just lost another star. ----- Original review below ----- Average selection of snacks and beverages, which is fine, but the debit card readers go into "cards offline by vendor" mode for over 6 hours every Thursday and Friday, part of which is during our lunch break. I don't carry cash or coins, so this is very annoying and inconvenient.

Our vending machine at work has been empty for weeks. This is how we provide drinks for our clients and snackies for hangry stylists. We have repeatedly called and requested service to no avail. WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN US?! I neeeeeed caffeine and those sweet and spicy peanut thingies. Please save us! We are so thirsty!

This is the absolute worst vending company. The machines will stay empty for days and they only fill half of them each time they come. Do not hire this company! This is the kind of company that shuts the card reader off at breaks to force your employees to use cash so this company won't have to pay credit card fees. And they stock expired food all the time

The advertised price for a soda is $2.00. It doesn't show that there is an additional charge for using a credit card. I debated buying at $2.00, the extra would have been a deal breaker, and I won't be purchasing again.

They charge you $5 no matter what your purchase is. It could be a snack for $1.25, and you'll get charged for $5. They refund your money *eventually* but the process takes a number of days. I would give them zero, but 1 star is the lowest I can give.
