Action Karate Drexel Hill

We have been with AKDH since it opened in Drexel Hill. They model and teach responsibility, discipline, and athleticism all while encouraging mental and physical health. This family run business has a culture of fun, love and respect. Can’t recommend them enough!

Our son loves his instructors and the curriculum. He’s always excited to attend class. As parents we see that Karate is helping to boost his self confidence.

My daughter who has autism started here at age 7. They are kind, patient, and supportive, and they have built her confidence to a whole new level as a junior black belt at age 11. We love Ms. Andrea and Trooper and all the instructors who support their wonderful center.

My son has been going to Action Karate for the past 3 years! It is absolutely the best! The owners and instructors are so professional, kind, and caring n to everyone that walks into their establishment! My son has learned so much and come so far since he started at action karate! I recommend them to everyone!

UPDATED! I just wanted to take time to update my review to 5/5 stars!! This Karate class is a fun activity for kids that enhances confidence and listening skills. My daughter loves it and is actually following directions better. My initial review (Stated Below) was written when management wasn’t flexible or showed any concern during a difficult time when I was unable to bring my child to Karate. I just wish they showed more concern and yes I understand “it’s a business” but life happens. I still believe they should be more understanding in certain situations. (Previous Review) I just want to warn potential parents who are thinking about this karate class. Please be aware that you will be signing a contract for a YEAR and will be unable to withdrawal your child despite life circumstances. Due to personal reasons including a death of a love one, heath reasons and not working currently I have not been able to take my child to karate. I did share this info with administration and it seemed like they didn’t care. Their response was “it’s a contract” no condolences or anything. No concerns for my child well being either. They don’t care if you show up as long as they get paid!! I do understand it’s a “contract” but life happens and it’s not in my control. So yes just be prepare and make sure nothing happens to you for a year while enrolled. P.S - They only told me to call when it came to billing issues due to credit information changes. However, when I shared with them the reasons to why my child was absent they never seemed concerned. They just said it’s a contract. I just don’t want anyone else to go through this kind of treatment. I guess my child will be back whenever things get better and I’m able to get my child there. For now keep enjoying the free money. Good for you. Too bad for me I guess smh
