Acadiana Jiu Jitsu

Putting my son in Jiu Jitsu at Acadiana Jiu Jitsu was by far one of the best things I have done as a parent. I signed him up for the free class and signed him up right after that class. He has only been going for one month but I can already see positive changes in him. Not only do they teach Jiu Jitsu and self defense but they teach RESPECT. I am beyond grateful for the staff and coaches there. I 100% recommend you sign up for the free class and see for yourself how great it is!

My son went for a free trial class the first of Sept of 2022-we signed up as soon as class was over and he has been there for almost a year now! Coach Health, his staff and the overall environment is AMAZING! We don't live close by, but I gladly make the drive for my son to have this experience! In the time he has been there I have seen a change in him that makes my heart happy! The time they take to instill not only skill but basic mental/emotional skill and showing how those intertwine with JuiJitsu is really great and seeing them actually understand and use that is amazing! Then seeing it put to the mat at competitions makes you so proud of them! If you're considering putting your child or yourself in Jiu Jitsu or any other service they provide-DO IT! You won't regret it!

My daughter started jujitsu 3 years ago, now she’s about to turn 8 and jujitsu has changed her life. All she talks about is jujitsu and that she wants to be a jujitsu instructor and own her own dojo. Her attitude is great and she takes pride in everything she does. She gets a lot of life lessons and structure and the love of competition from the instructors from Acadiana jujitsu, owner and jujitsu black belt Heath Henry has a way of teaching so the kids, teens and adults have fun and enjoy the craft that he teaches and loves. Heath and his instructors Clayton, Emma, Justin, they have made a place in Scott La. that any parent would love to bring there child. I loved watching and learning so much that I have just joined the adults class so I can learn and help my daughter and by joining, I feel better have lost weight and enjoy just getting in the gym with great ppl and just having fun. Jujitsu is a big part of my family’s life and at acadiana jujitsu they make you part of the family. Great place to learn a new art. Knowledgeable teachers, good equipment and an overall good energy to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Coach Heath knows what's he's doing that's for sure
