A Place At Home - Albuquerque

A Place At Home was very responsive to my needs. They made sure the caregivers I had were ones that worked for me. All the caregivers were great. Miranda was always available to pitch in if someone couldn't make their shift and came with new caregivers to train them. I highly recommend this company.

This company has a lot to learn. They sent me a "care giver" that just wanted my things, including my landscaping lava rocks, one just wanted to do things her way and got so close I could feel her breath while she was accusing me of being a smoker. She is the one that kept going to her car for or my front porch for a few puffs. One would reluctantly would halfway do chores but was more than willing to indulge in in a trip to McDonald's, on my dime. I do not have internet so I asked Miranda to please provide me with a hard copy of what they were deducting from my bank account. The amounts were never the same. Different dollar amount every week. I called the main office in Kansas City. Miranda called me and canceled my service. Still haven't seen hard copies of my billing. My advice is to hitch your wagon to another star. Run the opposite direction. They seem to care about the almighty dollar. Not their clients.

I've worked with this company for a couple months & Miranda and Rachael were amazing. They worked around my schedule as a mom, and are very thoughtful woman. They knew alot of situations I've dealt with in this year They not once judge or put me down (been through it with other companies) They were very caring in my well being and mental health. Towards the end of my career with the company they treated me fairly & understood. Not only do they care for the employees they have so much love and care for their clients. I highly recommend...

This company has been great with finding a companion for my mom. I live out of state and have been coordinating care for my mom who lives in Albuquerque. We went through a few companions (one moved, one was allergic to cats, one wasn't a great fit to my mom's personality) and Rachel was always responsive to mom's feedback, super conscientious of her needs, and we finally found the perfect fit for mom! I have been grateful for their support of my mom, quick response time, and overall professionalism.

Rachel has been a life saver! My hubby got out of rehab but was unable to walk safely on the walker or even get up and down out of a chair. Rachel stepped in and helped up for 2 weeks just to get him back on a semi-even keel. She is very calm in the face of our chaos! I will tell everyone I know about the wonderful services that A Place at Home offers.
