Signed up last week and still don't have any kind of membership card. The internet was down the other day so the kiosk didn't work. Was locked out and couldn't access the gym that I'm paying to use. Can't get in touch with anyone there. The three times I've been there , there's no one working in the gym. Minor league operations at best.
Instead of finding a more reasonable way (or any way at all) to distinguish between bringing a guest and being polite to strangers, this location has decided to take the most logical route and charge $8 to anyone who so much as holds the door for the person behind them. This business is either a scam or ran by lazy management. Whichever it is, this seriously puts me off from ever wanting to give them my money and hopefully it would for any reasonable person too.
Day one of visiting this facility while I am in the area for the next several months for business. Nonetheless Gym was fairly small compared to Metro gyms I attend in larger cities. I will take the substantial cleanliness on this gym over a larger facility any day. My only critique is lack of lubrication to the equipment. May we have someone to spray a few shots of WD40 on the machines please. Especially the preacher curl machine. While using this particular equipment it made a banshee screeching sound that Disturbed other members. I came to this facility for a quick pump, not to be possessed by demons. I discontinued after the first set. I really would appreciate it if this was addressed. 4 Stars
I don’t even know about their equipment. For all I know their equipment is excellent. However, it better be amazing because so far they have overcharged me twice, and have not contacted me a single time to set up my membership. So I have been unable to access the facility yet have been paying like I own a membership to a good gym like Conway regional. Terrible customer service. I was told there would be a signup charge and a monthly charge of something like $15 per month and I was lied to. I have now been charged the “signup fee” twice, and I “signed up” a month ago, and guess what? Still no contact about setting up a membership. I mean do the people there even know how to use a phone or an email account? I think not. So while I can’t speak to their gym equipment (because I haven’t even been able to enter the facility) I can speak to being out $100 for no reason. Oh and while signing up for your membership is incredibly easy and completely online, you have to actually go into the office and sign paperwork to get out of said membership. I picture little children running this facility.
Extremely disappointed in how this business is ran. My husband and I searched and SEARCHED for the best deal with them. We couldn’t do just one Premier membership because at the West location, they don’t allow guests, which is our preferred location, so we ended up signing up for 2 basic memberships. I called them 3 different times, speaking to 3 different people in order to get all of the information I could so that we could get the best deal possible. I didn’t want to waste my money. This was on a Friday. The next day, on Saturday, we both get emails asking us to complete signing up. We had already signed up last night, so I just disregarded the email. Two days later, on Monday, we both receive emails asking us to complete signing up and they’d waive the joining fee. Seriously? We had JUST paid $90 in joining fees three days before and now you offer to waive that? I contacted the manager and she informed me that there was nothing she could do. I feel EXTREMELY taken advantage of considering I spent HOURS on Friday to ensure I wouldn’t waste any money anywhere. Please proceed with caution if you intend on joining because they make take your money and then offer that money off a few days later and then say there’s nothing they can do about it.
EDIT: Corporate reached out to me and refunded our joining fees. We appreciate them for taking their reviews from customers so seriously and making up for their mistakes. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed being able to utilize gym equipment, but were really off put by this situation. It’s safe to say that 10 Fitness redeemed themselves and, again, we really appreciate them taking the time to address and correct the situation.
